[WORLDKINGS - Ideastime] Daily Highlights 10 November, 2023 – Make pickles in "Picklestone" with natural seasonings!

(Wcsa.world) “Picklestone” is a glass pot that makes it easy to create Japanese traditional pickles called “Tsukemono”.

Picklestone is a passion project from designer Tomonori Tanaka that simplifies the art of preparing tsukemono – traditional Japanese-style pickles and preserved vegetables.

Its smart design saves space even in a small kitchen. Pickles can be made even for one person. Stones and wood are hygienic, and easily removed for cleaning. After use, dry it and store it in the shade.

Seasoning is made of very finely ground powder. It is applied to vegetables evenly and has the advantage of making pickles more quickly. 1 bag can make pickles from about 200 g of vegetables. There are five kinds: bonito & kelp, Ume(Japanese plum), wasabi, yuzu(Japanese citrus), and shiso(Japanese herb). Enjoy the traditional tastes of Japan.

For Picklestone, it was used the highest quality "Aji stone" from Kagawa pref., Japan, which is well known for stones. A pot for cold brew. The lid is made of cherry wood. Woodworkers polish the lid.

“Picklestone” is a special tool to make Japanese style pickles. We have created new natural seasonings specifically for it.
