The SSD supports USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 connectivity and delivers read speeds of up to 2,000 MB/s, enabling rapid transfers of high-resolution videos, creative projects, and other large files. A Thunderbolt version is also available for users who require even higher bandwidth for demanding workflows.
One of the drive's defining features is its built-in 1.45-inch IPS touchscreen, embedded directly into the aluminum enclosure. Instead of relying on a simple status LED, the display shows storage usage, total data written, operating hours, drive health, and temperature in real time. A dedicated night mode is also included for comfortable viewing in darker environments.
With 1 TB of storage capacity, the NeoDrive Go can hold approximately 600 hours of 4K video, more than 30,000 RAW photographs, or over 15 AAA games. To help protect stored data, UGREEN has equipped the drive with LDPC ECC error correction, electrostatic discharge protection, surge protection, and a design capable of withstanding drops from heights of up to 2 meters.
Despite its storage capacity, the drive remains highly portable. It is roughly the size of a bank card and weighs about the same as a pair of wireless earbuds. Compatibility with Thunderbolt, USB4, and legacy USB standards allows it to work across a wide range of devices, including Mac computers, Windows PCs, and Android smartphones.
The NeoDrive Go also features a magnetic mounting plate compatible with the MagSafe system on the iPhone 15, iPhone 16, and iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max models. When attached to a supported iPhone, the drive can record 4K ProRes video directly to external storage instead of relying on the phone's internal memory. A permanently attached braided USB-C cable further simplifies mobile workflows by eliminating the need to carry separate cables.
