Unlike conventional charging cables that tend to disappear into the background, GloBright MultiColor glows along its entire length. This means the lighting is not limited to the connector ends. When the cable is loosely coiled on a desk or bedside table, the illuminated body creates an effect closer to a small light sculpture than a conventional charging accessory.

The colors also move gradually along the cable. Pink can transition into purple, while blue can fade toward teal, creating a slow, continuous visual effect instead of locking the cable to a single static color. The result is designed to add ambient lighting without requiring a separate lighting accessory.
Behind the visual treatment, the cable retains practical charging functionality. The GloBright MultiColor supports up to 60 W of fast charging for USB-C devices and also provides data transfer. The illumination therefore works as an additional feature rather than replacing the cable's primary function as a charging and connectivity accessory.

The cable measures 3 feet, or approximately 0.91 metres, and uses premium materials throughout its construction. Scosche designed it to withstand everyday handling, including being pulled from a bag, wrapped around a charger or accidentally stepped on.

For users who prefer a simpler lighting effect, Scosche also offers a Blue Glowing LED cable in a longer 4-foot, or approximately 1.22-metre, version. Instead of shifting between multiple colors, this model provides a steady blue glow.

The GloBright MultiColor can be particularly useful in spaces where conventional charging cables tend to blend into the surroundings. A gaming desk can gain an additional source of ambient illumination without a dedicated RGB kit, while a bedside table can benefit from a soft changing glow as a phone charges overnight. The illumination also makes the cable easier to locate among a collection of darker cords, giving an otherwise ordinary accessory a practical visual advantage.
