Nike Air Zoom Hyperslide brings heat and vibration recovery to everyday footwear

(wcsa.world) Nike has partnered with recovery technology company Hyperice to introduce the Air Zoom Hyperslide, a pair of recovery slides that combine heating and vibration therapy to help users relax their feet after exercise or long periods of standing and walking.

Recovery has become an increasingly important part of athletic performance, and Nike's latest collaboration with Hyperice brings recovery technology into a more casual form factor. The Air Zoom Hyperslide is designed to provide targeted heat and massage while maintaining the comfort of everyday slides.

The key component is the removable Hyperslide Pod, a magnetic module integrated into the adjustable strap. The device delivers both heat and vibration to the top of the foot, an area that experiences significant strain during running, training, and competition.

Users can choose from three heat settings reaching up to 47 °C (117 °F), along with three vibration intensity levels. According to Nike, using the slides in 15-minute recovery sessions can help reduce muscle tension, relax the feet, and support daily recovery before or after physical activity.

The Hyperslide Pod is rechargeable through USB-C and provides up to one hour of operation on a full charge, or approximately six 10-minute recovery sessions. Heat and vibration settings can be customized through a companion smartphone app that connects to the module via Bluetooth.

The Air Zoom Hyperslide builds on concepts introduced with the earlier Hyperboot recovery footwear but adopts a simpler, more portable design. It features a low-profile Nike Air Zoom sole paired with a generously cushioned footbed for everyday comfort. Nike also recommends wearing socks when using the heating function.

Although primarily designed for athletes, the company says the slides are also suitable for travelers and anyone who spends extended periods on their feet. The combination of cushioning, heat therapy, and vibration massage is intended to ease fatigue after long days of walking or standing.

Nike plans to launch the Air Zoom Hyperslide on September 29 through Nike, Hyperice, and selected US retailers. By integrating recovery technology into a lightweight pair of slides, the product reflects the growing trend of bringing sports recovery tools into everyday wearable products.
