ASUS V400 AiO uses snapdragon x to redefine the modern all-in-one PC

(wcsa.world) All-in-one PCs have long promised cleaner desks and simpler setups, but most still carry the bulk of a traditional desktop hidden behind the display. Because conventional processors generate significant heat, manufacturers often need larger cooling systems, resulting in thicker chassis that compromise the minimalist appeal these devices are supposed to offer.

With the V400 AiO, ASUS takes a different approach by changing the processor itself. The company’s new all-in-one is the first to use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X platform, bringing an ARM-based chip architecture into this category. Unlike many traditional desktop processors, Snapdragon X operates with lower power consumption and reduced heat output, allowing ASUS to build a noticeably slimmer and quieter machine.

The V400 AiO features a lean stand and a clean rear panel that make it resemble a premium monitor more than a desktop computer. Its quieter thermal system also helps it fit naturally into shared spaces such as living rooms, study corners, or family workstations, where loud cooling fans can quickly become distracting.

ASUS equips the device with a 23.8-inch Full HD IPS touchscreen that covers 100% of the sRGB color gamut. The display is designed to support both everyday productivity and light creative work. Internally, the system supports up to 32 GB of LPDDR5X memory and up to 1 TB of PCIe 4.0 SSD storage, providing enough performance for multitasking and media-heavy workflows. A 5-megapixel infrared camera also improves video call quality compared to most built-in webcams.

One of the V400 AiO’s defining features is its 45 TOPS neural processing unit. This allows the device to qualify as a Microsoft Copilot+ PC, enabling AI-powered functions to run locally instead of relying on cloud servers. Features such as real-time voice processing, intelligent assistance, and smart photo management can operate directly on the device, helping keep personal data private.

The system also includes Dolby Atmos audio, HDMI output, USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, and USB-C connectivity. ASUS also includes a wireless keyboard and mouse in the package, allowing the setup to work immediately out of the box.

Overall, the V400 AiO highlights how processor efficiency can directly shape the design of a modern all-in-one computer, influencing everything from thickness and cooling noise to AI capabilities and everyday usability.
