  • 2000: BreadTalk Group Pte Ltd was founded as a bakery brand in Singapore and opened it first outlet at Bugis Junction.
  • 2002: BreadTalk received the SPBA Most Promising Brand Award and is voted by consumers as Most Popular Brand
  • 2003: BreadTalk was listed on the Singapore Exchange. First overseas outlet opened in Jakarta, Indonesia. BreadTalk established PRC headquarters and opened its first outlet in Shanghai.
  • 2004: BreadTalk receives the Singapore Prestigious Brand Award.
  • 2007: First Food Republic opened in Kuala Lumpur’s Pavilion Shopping Centre, Malaysia. BreadTalk celebrated its 100th store worldwide opening in Shanghai, PRC



  • 2009: BreadTalk was listed by Brand Finance, an international, independent asset valuation company as one of the Top 100 brands in Singapore.
  • 2011: BreadTalk was awarded the Singapore Prestigious Brand Award, Regional Award and voted Most Popular Brand.
